Located in beautiful, Cornudas, Texas, off of HWY 2317. Close to the boarders of, TEXAS, NEW MEXICO, MEXICO, And just a short distance from ARIZONA! Dry camp only, but everything you need, is very close by. Our closest cities are, DELL CITY, (30 MINUTES.) and EL PASO (1 HOUR). There is also a historical restaurant called, CORNUDAS CAFE / MAY'S CAFE, that's only 11 minutes away, and rumored to take VERY good care of it's customers! Camp Cornudas is the place to be, with blue sky's, and amazing scenery!  

FAQs

1. Why do you have the wrong entrance on Hip Camp? 

We will provide the exact coordinates upon booking. Unfortunately, Hip Camp maps are not able to locate sites by GPS. So, while Hip Camp says we are located in Dell City, we are actually in Cornudas, Tx. 

2. May we use any type of vehicle to camp?

  All wheel, and or 4 Wheel drive is recommended. 

3. Are there restrooms and showers?

  Not yet, as of right now, this is a, dry camp only, site. 

4. Do you have trash dumpsters?

  Not at this time. If you're coming from El Paso, there are public dumpsters on Mayfield Ranch rd., next to a set of mail boxes, right before you get to town. It's a communal trash system. There is also a city dump in Dell City.

5. Are there assigned camp spots?

  No, you may camp anywhere you like as long as no one else has set up there.

6. Is this a pet friendly camp site?

  Yes, but no animals with any type of aggressive behaviors. You must keep all animals on a leash at all times, and must have up to date shots. We must keep our pets babies safe.

7. Do you provide drinking water? 

  Not at this time. Most supplies can be purchased in Dell city, or El Paso.

8. Is this location close to shopping, and grocery stores?

  Yes, there is a superstore just about an hour to the west, off the highway, in El Paso, Texas. As well as lots of other shopping options within that city, but the closest shopping area would be, Dell City for supplies.

9. May we put up fencing, and picknick tables?

  Please only use camping equipment.

10. May we start a bon fire?
